there's really only the temple buildings and the forest to explore, so one of those areas. i thought it would be good to see if there are any clues about how exactly astoria brought us here, or how to get her un-stuck.
there are wyverns? no way!! i didn't see those at all. you'll have to tell me where you spotted them. first order of business can be checking the wyverns out.
astoria's stuck here for some reason and can't go to help other worlds, which is why she brought us here to help. i thought there might be clues around here to figure out how she got stuck and how to un-stick her.
that might not be the right terminology, but that's the general idea.
sure! they're easy to find if you have food-- as soon as one knows there's a treat, they ALL find out.
I thought she just didn't go because maybe her magic didn't work that way. like she can teleport other people but the caster can't teleport themselves.
[he doesn't have wyvern treats, but he can ask Geir what he likes to eat. that might be close enough.]
that could actually be what it is. she didn't sound sure what was keeping her from leaving when i talked to her, so i thought that there might be a solution to it. being nice about kidnapping people doesn't make it okay to kidnap people, you know? so the sooner we can figure out how to let her leave this place to go to other worlds, the better. she should be able to send people home if they have things they need to do there.
but she is really powerful, as far as we know, so i thought it might be a part of her ability to help prevent chaos from taking over worlds! she has to know that kind of stuff if she's going to help. that is making a lot of assumption about her though, when i should just ask her...
there's really magic that can do that??? do you know how it works?
it's okay if you don't, if someone asked me how seraphim use artes i wouldn't be able to explain it, but that sounds really amazing!!! and i could ask astoria if it's anything like the magic that you know about. even if she's just using her magic instinctively, if we know what kind of magic laws it's similar to it might help her, you know, direct it better or something
there is but I have no idea how it works. it was being used by deities?? for a matchmaking game.
that was a situation where they brought us from other worlds, too, but we were volunteers. And they sent us back afterwards. There was a lot more mobility and cooperation than Astoria's method, but they couldn't move themselves out either iirc.
that doesn't sound half bad, except for the dating part. a real vacation would have some kind of exploration instead. but i'm sure that depends on the person.
backdated to 6/20 its important
Eliza!!! once the rain stops we should go exploring!!!

has she ever been off this world at all? I don't know how she knows so much about us all or about the places she's sending us to.

that sounds really stupid when i type it out

I don't think she's had a lot of formal practice/study? it could be instinctive for her

why would deities want to have a matchmaking game? don't they have better things to do

but i guess if everyone had fun with it then it wasn't a bad way to pass the time.
i can't believe you keep getting caught up in stuff like this though. it sounds rough!

how do you volunteer to go to another world, exactly? did they send you a note or something?
