Her soul generates magical energy— this is normal for humans in her world, and it's generally contained within their own personal fields. Intruding into that field with mindreading/healing/other individual's magic powers can be difficult!
Eliza is a professional necromancer and hobbyist beastmaster. She has some affinity for necromancy, but her magic's default is neutral/multipurpose/untyped. Feel free to sense what she does, but basically necromancy wasn't originally inherent to her nature.
She IS missing some small pieces of her soul though! It's overall pretty healthy, but some small bits are just GONE, while some larger chunks have been permanently bound to her four undead dragon familiars.
So far she can summon one of them as a spectre: Isildur is an amalgamation of pieces from dragon souls that had deteriorated over time (his species went extinct some 8-12k years ago). BUT with Eliza's soul holding those together and the quality host that is his skeleton (a single complete individual, wherever it is), he's very stable and the hodgepodge hivemind is functionally a single new living individual. And he's a VERY GOOD BOY, yes he is!
